This is a website project to challenge myself as I learn HTML and CSS. It's actually the fulfillment of something I wanted to do when I was about 13 years old...

Around that time one of my teachers had made a website about our school's founder, and it was a skill I was interested in learning myself. There was also a book in the school library that I loved to read, called Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Characters.

This book contained lots of different characters from across the three films and Expanded Universe at that point, but for some reason, the characters from Jabba's Palace all stood out to me and I had the idea to make a website about Jabba's Palace.

Bear in mind this was 2000 and the internet was full of much more innocent sites like this. I imagined the music from the Max Rebo Band would play as you browsed information about the various characters...

My teacher started showing me how to build websites on his lunch break, but it all seemed too complicated for me at that time and eventually the idea faded in my mind and never got made.

Fast forward 22 years and here I am seriously studying how to make websites, so I thought it would be the ideal first simple project for me to undertake.
